Adding names for Yizkor 2024

Yizkor 2024/5785 Names

Jewish tradition encourages us to honor our loved ones who have gone before us by bringing goodness into the world. One way is through acts of Gimilut Chasadim, loving kindness. Another way our tradition brings goodness into the world is by acts of tzedakah which can mean making contributions to places in need. We encourage you to consider Temple Emek Shalom.

At our afternoon Yom Kippur Yizkor service, a reading of our loved ones’ names will be given. These recitations will include the names of all those whose names are listed on the perpetual Yahrzeit board in the sanctuary. The readings will also include the names of loved ones that have been submitted via this form.

Please note: If you have previously added names to the Yizkor list, you do not need to add them again.  Traditionally, a donation is still given which can be done at the bottom of this form.  If you have new people to add, please do so by using this form.

The deadline for submissions was September 18, 2024.  If you are submitting this form after that date, we will do our best to include the names in this years Yizkor list, but we cannot make any guarantees.

If you prefer to make your donation by check, please send it to:
